Psychedelic Medicine
You might have heard conflicting opinions about psychedelics. Perhaps you have had a psychedelic experience that you are trying to make sense of. Maybe you had a difficult trip or an eye-opening and mind-expanding experience that you are trying to understand. You don’t have to struggle on your own.
It’s not uncommon for people taking psychedelics to have a profound experience that shapes their thinking. Psychedelic experiences may expose old trauma, uncover long suppressed pain, provide insight into difficulties you experience, or provide you with a vision of the best version of yourself. However, the experience itself might dissipate with time with minimal or no benefit. Psychedelic integration therapy gives you an opportunity to consciously process the experience you had and learn to integrate its lessons into your life moving forward.
I have long believed that the Non-Ordinary States of Consciousness can facilitate personal growth, insight, and healing. This interest led me to receive a certification in psychedelic-assisted therapies from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). Currently, besides my private practice, I work at Polaris Insight Center, providing Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. In my private practice, working from a harm reduction perspective, I provide Integration Services and offer non-judgmental counseling to clients to develop healthier relationships with the tools they choose to work with.
